About the Jackalope
Said to be drawn to the scent of alcohol, the jackalope often appears only to those who have been enjoying fine wine, beer and spirits. The jackalope’s uncanny ability to mimic human singing is also known to lull many a traveler on the moonlit trail into a peaceful, contented slumber. Named for this elusive – some say extinct – western creature resembling a jack rabbit with deer antlers, The Jackalope Grill offers the equally hard-to-find combination of imaginative Northwest haute cuisine in an unpretentious Central Oregon environment.
Hi Tim,
I’ve taken a few of your cooking classes. I didn’t know if you have a good sauce recipe you could share with me. I’m slow cooking some tri-tips and would like a nice sauce to put on top of them when I serve it. I need it for a party of six.
If you have something you can email to me at jimharrer@gmail.com that would be great. If not, I understand. The event is Sunday night.
Thanks!
Jim Harrer
