WOMEN TASTING WINE: Sparkling Wines

From WTW: “In view of the approaching holidays, the December Women Tasting Wine Seminar will feature Sparkling Wines, with sparklers aimed at every price range and occasion. Dennis Sienko of Bend Wine Cellar will guide us through these wines, and Chef Tim will create some delectable dishes to pair with them. This is a chance for you to dress a little “sparkly” yourself and enjoy the festivity of the occasion.”??We will meet on Monday, December 20, from 4:00-6:00, at Jackalope Grill. The cost is $45. Seats for this seminar will go quickly, so make your reservation as soon as possible: contact Diane Sienko at Bend Wine Cellars (388-7564), or go to the Women Tasting Wine website.

In case you missed it, Tim appeared three times on “The Chef’s Table,” where he demonstrated his Pan Seared Beef Filet with Brandied Green Peppercorn Sauce, ( Click here for the video and the recipe.), Green-lip mussels in Thai Style Curried Coconut Sauce as well as Bananas Foster.
